I consult on AI implementation and run workshops for people who didn't go looking for this technology but have to deal with it anyway. The pieces here come from that work — the questions I can't stop turning over, and the conclusions that took me a while to land on.
I write when something keeps nagging after a client conversation. A claim I keep hearing that doesn't hold up when you do the math. A workshop question without a clean answer. Something a nonprofit director said that I couldn't stop thinking about on the way home.
Who would have thought that a fishing rod and AI could be so relatable?
A friend of mine shared a video the other day about SaaS prices going up across the board. The guy in the video made a point that stuck with me: these companies aren't raising prices because their products got better. They're raising prices because they bolted AI onto their platforms and called it an upgrade.
